the ultimate cheeseboard

I loooove hosting parties and to get straight in: a cheeseboard always is an ultimate winner! so I thought I’d share some ideas and pictures of my cheeseboard.

the cheeseboard in the photos was actually not made for a party – my bridemaids came over to discuss some wedding stuff and I didn’t really have time to cook dinner, so I decided to just throw some bits & bobs of delicious foods togheter. and that’s the most amazing part in making a cheeseboard: it only takes a few minutes and the result is grand!


as you can see in the pictures – it’s not only a cheesboard, it’s more like a „everything-I-liked-in-the-stores“-board and that’s what I love about it: it’s never the same and you can adapt and change it to the bunch of people coming over.


as I said, there are no rules but I like to have the following selection:

a soft cheese like camembert, feta or mozzarella, a semi-soft cheese like gouda or emmentaler, a semi-hard one like gruyere, manchego or provolone, a hard cheese like parmesan or aged swiss cheese, bread or crackers, some charcuterie like prosciutto, salami, or sausage, some nuts and fruits, olives, veggies and so on. this time I also made some hummus and guacamole to dip the veggies or bread – it was delicious and everyone found something they liked.
